Hi, I’m Dr. Conor,

I’m the author of the four Amazon No. 1 best-selling books in The Gym Upstairs series and the CEO of The Gym Upstairs Contributory Wirting Consultancy, which writes contributory articles for celebrated publications in the areas of psychology, health and wellbeing, sport, education, and all things that help the human, mind, and body.

My expertise will help your publication thrive as I quickly meet deadlines and build relationships online for long-lasting success for your publication and my writing.

I’ve worked with Fortune 500 and 100 leaders throughout my career to lessen their stress and increase their performance. In addition, I’ve researched the top performers worldwide in music, drama, television, fashion, and entertainment. In education, I`ve worked with the top 1% of universities worldwide, including professors, lecturers, researchers, teachers, and school staff. My work has given voice to the top professional athletes and coaches from the NFL, the NBA, the MLB, the PGA, Tour, Olympic Champions, the Soccer World Cup, the Champions League, Rugby World Cup Champions, World Record Holders, the English Premier League, the Indian Cricket League, World Boxing Champions, World Snooker Champions, World Swimming Champions, and World Gymnastic Champions.

From my Ph.D, doctoral, and post-doctoral studies in Psychology, Neuroscience, Sociology, Education, and Health and Wellbeing, I`ve become an expert in writing about the best and communicating that to the ordinary reader.

But before all of that, I was a young athlete.

I was talented and played and captained teams much older than me. Having spent my youth perfecting my game, I reached the top level in my sports before, as a young man, at only 20, I had to stop playing due to an injury that no traditional medical doctor could figure out. From there, I went to a specialist and was told I had a spinal injury that was inoperable in Europe, where I lived.

I was stressed and feeling under pressure as a sporting career was short, and my body was not improving at all.

My self-belief went, and I was not confident that I`d play to a high-performance level or even again.

As I had spent all of my time preparing or playing sports, and it was all I wanted to do in life, I felt as if my whole life was over, even though I knew deep down I could do great things.

From that moment on, I vowed to learn everything I could about the human mind, brain, and body and to help myself and others overcome their issues and perform at the highest level.

After discovering all I could to help myself, I worked with leaders, coaches, and athletes over the next few years and began to write in some notable publications, too. Forbes, INC, and Entrepreneur all published my work. I then wrote online and became a top mental health and psychology writer in Medium.

From there, I co-authored four books on mental health and then got invited to co-author another book. That book became a USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-seller.

Then, I wrote my first book in The Gym Upstairs series, which became an Amazon’s No.1 best seller. I followed that up with three more books, and they all hit the top spot as well.

Immediately after that, I began contributing nationally and internationally to other magazines.

Of course, in the background of all of that, I was researching for my Ph.D. Once that was completed, I had five of my academic articles published in Scopus and Web of Science-accredited journals.

As I continue to research and write, I hope to keep the reader’s interests central to my work and hope that they take action and improve their life with their new knowledge when they read.
